For some time, Mark did his own interpretations of Norman Rockwell's humorous stories, several of which brought him major accolades from his peers and the general public.

Mark is now creating portraits in the studio, but using natural light. These images only allow for one or two subjects in the scene, and so they are very intimate. He is spending this fall creating the images, which we expect to display for the first time in public at The Oaks Mall later this year.

We are also going to rebuild the "almost famous" lake scene in our studio. No smoke and mirrors. No silly gimmicks. We really do make a lake in the studio, and put a real boat in the scene! These portraits will be created in January 2006, after we've had a chance to find just the right boat. I will be needing young children to model for them. This is an opportunity
for just a few adventurous people who want to be a part of that magical creative process. If your child is calm and photogenic, and you'd like to see us use him or her in this scene, please let me know.
