Less than 2 weeks ago, April and I received a heart-wrenching phone call from Adam George, who works here at Brandes Portraiture as my associate photographer. While on a camping trip recently, his 22 month old daughter, Faith, tripped into their campfire, suffering 2nd and 3rd degree burns on her left hand. She was rushed to the Grossman Burn Center in Sherman Oaks, where she is currently undergoing treatment.

As you might expect, the costs for her treatment will be expensive, even though Adam has health care insurance. In order to assist the Georges, we would like to invite you to participate in a fund-raising portrait event, by booking a sitting for January 5th or 6th. We will create one of our beautiful portraits for you at a savings, and support will also be raised for Faith. For more information, please see the flyer below. We are all grateful that Faith’s injuries were not more extensive. During this time of year when we celebrate the birth of Christ, we are reminded of the innumerable gifts we do enjoy through the care of our loving God. Please join us in praying for Faith and her family.
