April and I had an amazing experience in Canada where the beautiful environment of the Pacific Northwest fed our creativity. I discovered this incredible little lake where I created this portrait of Wendy Bates in the early morning sunlight. Needless to say, it has been an inspiring summer.

Mark, the expression of peace and tranquility is a gift for all the viewers......
a Monet palette, the lucsious blues, against cool greens....inspires and uplifts the viewers soul.
A timeless, classis gift of art.
WOW!!! What an amazing portrait! I wish it was me in that canoe! the picture is just breathtaking! I would hang this in MY house and I'm not even in the pic!
I think of you often. There are so many wonderful photo opt. spots. I'll send you some of my favorite quick pics I took on Amelia Island this last month.
Mark, this is Rita Warren leaving an anonymous comment, because I'm too lazy to set up an account for myself. But I'm not too lazy to tell you that this photograph is absolutely lovely. It creates such an atmosphere of calm and serenity that I want to be that lady in the boat.
As always, great work!! Rita
Mark, I'm a photographer in Everett WA. Read your comments in July '08 Professional Photographer magazine and decided to visit your site. I have only recently started to do digital "painting". Sargent is my favorite artist. I think this canoe portrait captures that style with some of your own added it.
If your goal is to make images that uninvolved viewers can enjoy looking at, I think you have achieved it.
Love you work.
