It was such an honor to have Steven and Peggy Roosa of Pro Photo West interview us a few months back. Not only did they feature us on the cover of the Winter 2010 issue, they also ran a 4 page article in the magazine. Professional Photographer Magazine interviewed me recently for a feature article in this month's issue. The article includes my first portrait assignment, before I had even chosen portraiture as a career. I was pleased that they also featured my portrait of Andrea Leonelli, that was made in the elegant, formal style I've enjoyed for many years. 
The portrait you see here is of Sally Bowen, her daughter and three granddaughters.  Sally is a huge fan of John Singer Sargent and Richard Pinos,  which inspired me to create this painting sketch in Sally's home in Orange County.
